My lightbulb in the gearshift burned out and I cannot see anything in the dark. It was replaced a month ago, and when the mechanic put in a new one, he said that the bulb was always on, even when the lights were not turned on. Is this normal, that the light should always be on? Obviously in the daytime I cannot see it so never noticed if this has always been the case. Thanks, everyone!
