(1987 325i) My clutch just suddenly stopped working, I was told by a nice "passerby on the side of the road" that I have a clucth slave leak. He bled it for me but still no pressure to even drive it to a repair shop. I need to know if I need to replace the slave AND master or just the slave. Also. wondering if it is something that can be done easily or best to take it to the dealer???
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP... I NEED MY CAR and everywhere I call gives me the runaround because I'm a girl. PLEASE |

Sounds like a slave cylinder to me. start there. Don't take the run around tell 'em you've got friends (here) in high AND low places. good luck. Remember, if you look and act vulnerable you will be treated as such. Remember who the customer is. Remember who has the $ they want. Remember there is ussually another place down the street. |

thank you, I was able to find the parts new and below wholesale. I also found a repair shop that replaced the slave cylinder and master for $100. Compared to the other quotes I got that ranged from (low) $450 to (high) $790, the total bill was about $150 (including the towing). It all worked out and my car is running fabulously. Thanks again.
