My mechanic has just changed my head gasket, but the BMW 5.24td engine sound is no longer normal;I have a blowing sound from the engine or the air cleaner. When you open the air cleaner the sound is loudest. Some mechanics say it is a valve problem whilst others say part(the end) of the air cleaner has been lost. Any help?
