hmm..for some reason this one just diddnt wanna go in...do you think there is soemthing wrong with the head?  
just kidding guys...the bimmer has the same plugs it came with.  |

Those are the lifetime plugs. Those are installed by the dealer.  |

Ooooh, those are the "Type R" plugs. Just like most of the "Type R's" out there, these ones are only nice to look at...but they don't perform like the real Type R.

Those are the 'lifetime' warranty plugs that you weld into the head. Yeah, that's it, you weld them in...

A freind of mine had a Mazda MX-3 that was running a little rough shortly after she bought it, so we started to do a tune-up. One of the plugs wouldn't come out, so I grabbed a flashlight and peeked down in through the valve cover (it was one of those engines where the plugs go through the valve cover). One of the spark plugs had been JB welded into place!
