That was the stupidest, most capricious thing NPR could have done. I'm having a hard time justifying supporting NPR now. I've been waking up to Bob for almost as long as I've been alive...

No doubt. They didn't even have the decency to wait until his 25th anniversary (later this year).

It makes no sense. Morning Edition has been gaining audience ever since it started, and the audience is still growing. No reason to replace Bob. I wouldn't be surprised if the show loses audience after this.

The whole point of public radio is that they don't pull arbitraty management caca like this, I thought.

what happened to Bob? I assume he was fired, but what for? I havent listened to Morning Edition since I stopped taking classes before 10am, so I guess I'm out of the loop.
