Mark,

Do they need anyone with PLC Programming / Controls Design experience? Allen-Bradley (even Control Logix) is my forte.

Sumpin to think about...

well...
i'm gonna have to combine some of your previous thoughts.

They'd have to give me JRS's first quote on the $$$, plus, they'd have to give me the previously shown tank as a personal vehicle, plus, they'd have to let me bring my own weapons.
I'm no fan of standard issue.

I also want to give a personal "thank you" to all of you veterans, especially those who saw combat.
I was in the Navy from 95-00 under King klinton and did helicopter search and rescue.
I never saw any real combat and am thankful for it. Got out because in a downsizing military, there was WAY too much politics in the aircrew community, especially as an enlisted guy.

Was all over the middle east though and yes, the only good part was the schwarmas.
Stay away from the "beef" over there. It's not beef.... maybe it was one of those spiders? :-)

Here's a pic of my last flight where my pilot gave me some stick time a day before I processed out. That's my big melon in the front window.

Bill,
I didn't read the thread for over a month since you posted the video! BUt I wanted to see what came of MarkF's offer.
Godspeed to you indeed Mark. I pray that you return home safely to the states and that Gerda is revved up and ready for you when you get home!

A BIG 'THANK-YOU', for the best wishes.. It helps.

I guess I dont have to tell anybody, that Im pretty apprehensive.. Im out of here on June 6. ...hey. Isn't that D-Day?

I told somebody a month ago.. that at my age, and man gets to thinking sometimes, is 'this' all thats left in his life?
Does the road just go straight from here until I run outta gas..?
Are there no curves left..?
How frightening, to be able to see straight down the road, all the way to the end.

Let me tell you friends.. Somebody answered me in a big way..
I was hoping for a curve, and I got a hair-pin!

Lets see. How do I do this again?
Oh yea..
Stay off the breaks.
Down-shift and cut to the inside
with a tad more throttle.
Lean into it, and punch it coming out..

Ahhh yes.. exhilerating!

Drive on, my friends.
