http://www.osengines.com/engines/osmg1400.html

I've never seen one that small.

Check out how fast it spins. And check out the hp/cc - by comparison, that'd be like my 1.8L making 240hp.

It's for R/C, Radio Controlled, or Remote Controlled, take your pick.
Planes, boats, etc.

That OS engine is used for medium-to-large size Radio Controlled Airplanes and can also be used on a large-size hydro-foil-type boat.

It won't work on RC cars or 'submerged-prop'-type boats.

The 'spark plug' is that shiny piece slightly stickout at at the southeast side of the picture.

It uses a rotary-carbureator as most nitro-engines for airplanes do. RC cars primarily use slide-carb engines.

These engines run on nitro-methane fuel that come in various "percentages" - - $20-$30 per gallon. But for an engine to go through a whole gallon would require 3-4 hours of continuous running and at least 3-4 glow plugs.

Yep - I play with RC stuff... both nitro and electric.
