WOW. I saw a 745Li in Chicago. The license plate was "QTR TO 8".
I thought that was really clever. Nice car. |

Yes, BMW is wisely doing a major push in China. BMW already has superior brand recognition in other Asian countries with major successes like Thailand and Indonesia. Series 3 and 7 are assembled in Thailand. Series 3 in the Philippines, etc. The way they do it is very attractive. Like in the Philippiines, one can order the "M" sports mods and slap them on a regular Series 3 engine/chassis. And they do it while the car is being assembled. With so low a labor cost, why not?
Asia, particularly China, is definitely a target market for BMW. With China's extensive expressway building program and the new wealth, it would be dumb for any auto maker not to pay attention. |

Yao certainly has a good taste in cars..He also knows how to customize the right way..making for subtle yet sporty lux. sedan. His 745li is nicely done
This car kinda reflects the way he plays bball. For a 23 year old 7 foot 5 center...he is a timid player(mostly on offense only) (afraid of physical contact) who still has the an Effective defensive/offensive BITE. He's not flashy and he scores a "silent" 13-20 points day in day out. Aka..a silent killer to the opposing team.
His car reflects that...as does his charismatic personality. I've never ever seen someone that tall that could shoot that well for the outside.

Compared to the wheels we can get for our E30's yes, but if you take the some of the new fangled wheels available in the market for the E46s into account it's not too bad. |

And it looks like they forgot to put tires on 'em, too. |

Haha. Yeah, looks like they painted the outside of the rim black. |
