Been hearing a funny "rumble" from the what I think is the belt area.

Almost sounds like some bearings...from the water pump? 2001 with only 50k miles - anyone on this board every do one?

More likely the idler wheels. Remove the belts and spin the wheels, and all the driven accessories to find the noise.
