A metal strap clamps the heater fan to its plastic housing. Two screws secure the metal clamp. The el shaped part of the housing containing the two nuts has broken. I am being told that to relace the housing is a $3K job and considering the age of the car the plastic throughout is brittle and most likely more broken plastic parts will occur. Any ideas on how to secure the heater motor to the housing without a whole redo? Thanks.null
