I've got a line on a bank repo '92 735il w/120K miles, loaded, auto, black w/leather. The vehicle description on the w/s says it needs a head gasket and has rear fuel line and brake problems (not specified). If I bought this car, would $2k in repairs be about right, if done by a BMW shop (not a dealer)? It's for sale by highest sealed bid before 30 Jan. |

I"m on the E36 board, but from what I know, stay away from 7 series, as they cost to much to maintain. Fuel line and brake line problems may sound easy but you will have a hard time finding even used parts brand new parts from stealer could make it not worth it. |

Well, I ended up with it! It was a "no min" sealed bid, and I got it really cheap! The plot thickens as I figure out what's wrong with the car. Might be cheap. Might not. The car itself is in very nice condition cosmetically, inside and out. Everything is there, anyway. On to the show! |
