Does anyone know if the 2 tubes attachments that feed the fluid to the master brake unit are replaceable? The washer area is leaking small amounts of brake fluid, over time this fluid is dripping onto other components in the engine area, making a mess. |

If it is like a '93, the grommets in the master cylinder where the reservor tubes enter are what you replace. They are available at the dealer.
I would be a good idea to flush the system after you change the grommets.

Thanks for the info, I have a 94 740i, it started the small fluid leak several weeks ago. I did get two grommets from my BMW mech.on 10/16. He gave brief instruction on replacement. I have had this car (my 1st BMW)( wife has 323i) since August, done alot of maintenance myself. I know the most about American cars, rebuilt many over the years. Just learning my way around the BMW, it's great. Thanks again.... |
