Brian,
Look for the API (American Petroleum Institute) rating on the bottle. Seems "SJ" is current. The 100% synthetic oils are superior to preventing metal to metal wear over dino oils. Hence the need for a dino oil for break-in. Any new engine needs to bed in. Oils arrive at the API "SJ" rating differently. There are variances to oil base stocks and additives but all eventually arrive at the same place. The BEST oil? Pour a case of each major brands "SJ" oil into a empty 55 gallon drum. Stir thorughly. Pour. Now that's a superior blend!
