Has anyone added DC outlets successfully?
The single outlet inside the ashtray is not that useful. I now use a Y cord to get two connectors, one for the radar detector and one for the cell phone.
I am thinking that I could add one outlet on the lower left panel (under the headlight switch) and one on the console where the non-useful analog cellphone is now. And if possible I would like to take the cell antenna leads and wire them up to my Motorola StarTac digital phone.
Anyone have success stories to share?
