|
|
When I dropped off my 2000 x5 (4.4) for 30K Miles service. They told me that the hoses were in bad shape from over heating, they also mentioned that the coolant was contaminated. They claimed, someone poured oil in the coolant. The also told me that the transmission was short by 2 liters.
They claimed, the cooling system was flushed, by the time I drove the car home , the check engine light came on. The coolant is again seems to be contaminated.
I am sure there is some kind of problem, either with head/head gasket, or the transmission fluid somehow gets in to the coolant. Is it possible for the transmission fluid get in to the cooling flow?
I have stopped driving the car, and have an appointment in two weeks with another BMW dealer.
Any help is greatly appreciated. |
