Does anyone here have a suggestion on the best place to buy a new BMW in Southern California. I'm willing to give up some of the "luxury car buying experience" for a low price. Specifically I am looking for a 3-series 4-door sedan with automatic, metallic paint and no other options. This may be impossible to find, but I would like to know where to start.

Try Irvine BMW, or try CarsDirect.com, you may get a comparable deal.

I visited several dealers when i was shopping for my latest car. Irvine BMW has a nice store, they treated me well and as a bonus, i got to drive a Cooper S while i was there. They also had a Z8 in the showroom but saw me drooling and wouldn't let me near it. I ended up buying from Steve Thomas in Camarillo because they gave me a super deal and had the car i wanted. Also visited Crevier and they looked like they were willing to deal but didn't have the car I wanted when i was there. At Rusnak in Thousand Oaks i couldn't seem to get a salesman's attention and the prices seemed really high compared to the others. They also didn't have what i wanted. Pretty much the same story with Bob Smith in Canoga Park. Looked like the prices were high, and the salesmen were disinterested. and the store was a dump. If i've offended anyone with this post, sorry, those were only impressions from the visits i made personally. Your mileage may vary.
