Hello,
I am getting my first ever BMW, a 2001 325i sedan, next Tuesday. My question is related to extended warranty options: I initially negotiated with the dealer to include a 6 yr/120k km certified series warranty to my deal. After signing the papers, the dealer came back to me saying that BMW Head Office turned down the request to include certified series on my new car, stating that it does not apply to 2001 models. The dealer offered to compensate by giving me a 3rd party extended warranty coverage, which he claims to have a better coverage. He will fax me the coverage of both options tomorrow so that I can compare. I wanted to ask here if anyone has experience with the following extended wrty coverages: BMW certified series and Auto Shield 2000 coverage.
How would you recommend that I deal with this case? All opinions are appreciated. Thanks. |
