The passenger window on my cabrio does not go up easily. I have to slowly/gently push the button multiple times until I find "just the right spot" on the switch. Then it will go up. It will go down easily when I push the button. What do you suggest needs to be done?
1. remove switch and clean contact?
2. If I remove the door panel, is there something that I could clean/lubricate to make it run more smoothly?
3. Just need to get a new window motor?
I thank you in advance for your input. |

Try a switch first. They are cheap and plenty of them on ebay. Easy to replace.
also lube all the rubber seals with silicone. they can drag and bind and will slow the window down.
Rarely do the motors fail. _________________ Bob
