I'm hoping that all of our friends on the East Coast come through this storm OK, and that we don't lose too may E30s from flooding.
Good Luck everyone... we're thinking of you... _________________ Cosmo - 1985 BMW 325e, Single Owner, 265,000+ ORIGINAL miles and still going strong! But now on the East Coast and the salt air corrosion is eating my beautiful car alive...

I'm hearing the electricity is out in many areas, and no cell phone signals and probably no wifi, so doubt many can get online.
Hopefully by next week, they'll at least have the subway running.
This one's going to cost billions to recover.

I think it's a crap shoot who did ok and who didn't.
My father is in Southampton, NY... he has power. My mother is in Hampton Bays, NY, and doesn't. They're 8 miles apart.
I have a friend that lives just outside of Atlantic City NJ. She lost power for 15 seconds. All of the towns around her were trashed, including, of course, AC itself. _________________ Cosmo - 1985 BMW 325e, Single Owner, 265,000+ ORIGINAL miles and still going strong! OK, Back on line as of Sat eve. Whew, that was a long week. I have a Generator wired in so I'm in good shape. Kept the lights on, fridge cold, heat and water going.
All in all mostly trees down and wide spread power outages. No cell phone coverage due to power outages. and Phone and internet out as well.
Not as much rain as predicted so no flooding.
High winds though. Locally 60 mph and recorded 80+ mph at Lehigh Valley Airport.
Traveling was difficult due to closed roads from downed trees.
As everyone knows NJ and NY got hit the worse and are in bad shape.
I didn't get to see the scope of the damage until late in the week when things started coming back on line.
I have no complaints and feel fortunate that I had no property damage.
Just one standing, dead tree came down that I need to cut up. Missed the house.
Work has been crazy, we are in the Commercial Generator business so you can imagine how busy we are. Repairs, Rentals and the like.
We operated on our own standby emergency generator for most of the week. No power or phones or internet until Fri. All calls being forwarded to cell phones.
Crazy week
Hope everyone else in the affected area is OK. _________________ Bob

man, if there's a business to be in when something like this happens, it's generators or fuel.
glad you're ok!

I really feel for the people in areas of NY and NJ that are still without power. Watching the news and seeing the devastation makes you grateful for what you have for sure.
Many have lost everything. _________________ Bob
