I did it in a couple of hours, pretty easy. You're basically connecting your headlight wiring to relays, then those relays drive the ballasts, and drive the HID bulbs. Do the high beam first, to get the hang of it, then do the low beam.
That way if you run into any trouble doing the high beam, you can still drive the car around with low beams until you figure it out.
It is really easy, if you've done basic electrical work.
