I want to replace the front, stock speakers on my 1986 325es. How do I do this? And someone put in rear speakers. Where is the wire run for these?
Thanks,
Shawn |

Were the rear speakers replaced or added? If replaced, probably just used the existing stock harness. If added, the wires are probably run either under the carpet on the floor or under the sill plate on the door. The front speakers are paired. The tweeter in the door and cone in the kick panel. The tweeter feeds off the cone. If you are just going to replace the one in the kick panel, just reconnect the tweeter using the existing wires. The fader set up that BMW uses needs an electrical Engineer to explain. If you are replacing the radio, most people find it is easier to rewire all the speakers than try to make the system work with the existing wiring.
goood luck!
