Hey everybody, I purchased a recondtioned head unit last year, where the pins in the back were the subject of at least part of the reconditioning. The result was that a few were soldered, making them out of round.
Had trouble getting the wiring harness 100 % engaged and broke the sliding clip that locks it tight.
I've subsequently removed it twice, (will be doingso again shortly) to try to sand down the effected pins, but wondered if anyone has figgured another work around for this.

Use a fine grade metal file, then make sure you clean all the contact points. _________________ Currently looking for a good e30 to rebuild
