1993 325i , last week end I had to remove my intake manifold to get to my blower motor
Ive removed the intake manifold in the past so I am experinced.
my problem, now is that, when I started the car after putting it all together
i didnt connect the throttle positioning sensor. so obviously the car didnt start, put I immediatley fixed the problem and the car fired right up. But shortly after the check engine light came on, and the car started surging at idle it settled down , then it idle ok next it sounded like it was chocking and it stalled.
the code that I have is 1215 airflow meter.
I replaced the gasket on the intake manifold the throttle sensor, and ive checked for vaccum leaks, I dont want to replace the meter unless Im sure thats what it is.
is there any relays that might be associated with this.
the car actually runs good its just the check light is sporadically coming on |

So, the check engine light comes and goes, or is it always on? Your post is not clear, at least to me.
There are no relays associated with that portion of the controls system.
If you have access to similar car, try swapping the meter and see what comes. Also, there is a procedure to test if the sensor is working. From the Bentley manual, the first thing to check is if the wire is not broken. _________________
