Have an 1997 328i BMW 4 door sedan. Using a mann filter but it seems to clog more causing car to become very erratic. Are oil free KN filters better

I'm thinking if your air filter is clogging, that means it is doing its job properly and you don't want to change brands

no?

if it is clogging frequently maybe you should go to the K&N foam/oil filter, that you can clean regularly, which will save you money over time.
