I did a quick search on the forum about this issue but there didn't seem to be anybody that has had quite the same problem as I am having.
When I am operating my wipers in intermittent mode, after about 5 - 10 minutes or so they stop working. When this happens, the washer won't work, and the wipers won't work at all (intermittent, slow, or fast). If I turn them off, after about 5 - 10 minutes they will work again.
As best as I have been able to narrow it down, this does not happen if I had not been operating the wipers in intermittent mode when they failed. It just doesn't seem like a typical motor problem, but maybe it is.
Has anybody experienced anything like this before? |

I have a 2001 318Ci which has the same problems.
Did anyone find a cause or fix for it? |
