Thats exactly my experince, Zander. The E36 clutchfeels horribly stiff now - I am not convincied its not on its way out - but the E46 has a far longer travel and is much lighter. Overall I prefer it, but the combo of long travel clutch and long travel gear shift is not as sporty as the e36 or E30. The E36 also feels far buzzier, maybe engine mounts are old and transmitting even more vibe. I still enjoy the E36, but its not the same enjoyment i had going from the e36 to the E30. That little car, underpowered as it was, was far more fun than the luxo barges that replaced it. _________________ Steel Gray 02 318i Touring 86 000 km
