Sheesh.
I come back like 6 months later and one of my posts from back then is still like #6 on the page. You guys been busy huh?

i see Henry is still at it.
Henry man, here's an early christmas present.
Go to this motorcycle forum in a section called Jo Momma.
They do politics and such in a manner that has never been seen on this earth by UBB'ers.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9

Go ahead and lurk for awhile to get the feel of things. I have a feeling it'll be right up your alley.

Anyway, this is like speaking into a hollow auditorium. Hope you're all well and sane. I've still got my e30.

I'll be done with school in May so anyone that needs a mechanical engineer with military and networking and civil/environmental eng. background in the Tenn/N Carolina/Kentucky/Appalachian area, please drop me a line.

I gotta get outta florida. TOOOOOOOOOOO hot.
Though, right now, it's awesome riding weather.

Later all!

He's crazy. Jabbering like a monkey and running all over the place.
He's still a little unsteady on his legs which makes it so much more hilarious. He's just so much fun to be around and to just watch him explore.

He discovered how to make his knees bend while standing up the other day. Now he walks around and just stops for no reason, looks down, and starts bobbing up and down like he's trying to jump. Good stuff.
I'm taking lots of pics and video.

How bout yours?

LOL. Just now stopping by myself; slave to the work grind and haranguing other boards these days. Happy New Year and hope everybody's well. I wish I had more time to drive my cars...

Matt;

Have you considered checking with the TVA or the like? Loads and loads of incredible "driving" roads for a bimmer head in the East Tn-West NC area. Doubt that our energy demands will go away.

Good Luck!.....tncean

Thanks Tncean.

I'm already working on the TVA but I have to say, it'll be a last resort.
Engineers that work for state and federal agencies are usually (i said usually) not very stellar. Currently I work alot with state and federal agencies here in florida for permitting. Sheesh... what a pain. I'd rather work for a private gig.

I'm also looking at energy companies. Like you said, in whatever form, we're always gonna need energy. I'm talking with some folks I met through motorcycling about a job with this place.

No, it ain't the salsa. he he he.

Ideally, I'd like to do some design and other nerdy engineering work, but also turn a wrench and get my hands dirty. Dunno what's out there, but I'm digging. Alot of options are available just cause of the clearance I held in the military, but most are going back to work for the govt.

We'll see what happens. If any of you get any ideas, or tips, drop me an email and I can fire off a resume.

Thanks.

Matt

At the top of the page you'll find a long list of career opportunities. I believe there's job offerings in Texas.
