Just occured to me while reading this thread...move to the Bronx or to Brooklyn. Heck, on any given day in certain regions of either or both boroughs there will be scores of guys working on their cars. Heck, some even take electricity from light posts and water from hydrants. And no one really cares. Laissez faire economy where freedom is truly free!

Mr. Snipester, you live in Minnesota. You would seem to be more of a New York character then a mid-westerener.

Why?

Because people seek the midwest for peace, quiet, obedience of civil rules, conformity, consistent behavior, good manners, repressed primal urges and cleanliness of habitat. Not to mention no working on cars in the street.

Well, hells bells...check this out...land of the apartment house and no garage people in areas of that certain ilk (not Park Avenue or Fifth Avenue...but most anywhere else) think nothing of working on their cars in the street. Try Brooklyn. Try Queens...Manhattan, Staten Island or the Bronx. I'm really serious about this. But in Minnesota where it's all apple pie, the deep freeze, listen to the Prarie Home Companion for a guage of the place and Conformity you seem to be a fish outta water.

Try New York. We like eccentrics here.
And the women are hot...

Actually, I am serious. You seem like a fish outta water in Minnesota.

the women are only hot because they actually make some type of effort to look presentable..b/c there is more competition..

like you say.
in the sticks, the farm girls can get fat and bloated and stilll find fifteen farmhands to buy them dinner...

in the big apple, its all about status, and a look...

but not many other places...

here in WA. the women are mostly dikes or pierced pigs and even the cute ones look disgusting...

its rare to find a decent chick these days...

but all back to the basics of apt mechanics..
i think he got it all worked out..

Yes, yes... Everything will be fine now =) I think.

I thought about big cities, but I really do not think that New York is the place to go. I mean I love big city and everything, but not that kind of a city. In my culture big cities are different. Really, I'm a fish out of water in the whole country here =) So,.. Main reason against big city is because I'm an old fashioned person and do not like black people, no offence. Well, it does not make cense mooving now because I'm hoping to be gone for ever within a year or two.

About women, I did not even talk about the look %))))) I mean how they are... Behavior, morals, needs, beliefs, character kinds and so on. Though look does matter a lot, it is not everything. If you try hard enough, you can make anyone look beautifull, but you can not make them behave and live that way.

May I be the first on this Forum to wish you a sincere 'good bye.'

I hope your passage is quick, soon and permanent. I also think if you have taken citizenship it would be best to renounce it. If you have not taken citenship...all the better.

The sooner you are happily and permanently in your Former Socialist Paradise, currently ruled by an autocrat of questionable virtue, the happier I shall be.

I mean it...I wish to see you happy. Leave. Soon. With my best wishes.

bye bye

Thank you Henry, do not worry about me, I'll be happy. Worry about your own sake in your free world heaven. Do not forget you should be an example for the rest of us.

And do NOT fear, North Korea is far away from you and have no interest to invade what so ever.

im with henry after your one statement about "some" people you dont like..

in all honesty..
just look for the good in others, not the label or generalizations.

all in all.
you do seem ontop of yourself, admitting your a fish out of place..and boy, lett me tell ya..i have friends of every race, and age as well..they are all different from each other in many ways, and i too am a snowflakes shape away from sparks..

and north korea is everyones problem.
in fact..
why
after thousands of years of humanity, is there still poverty, war, famine, and so many ways to offend each other.

can we not evolve from the basics?
we just made killing each other easier and faster.
fighting over what, land, that will never be posessed?
border lines.
or
or even
someone just fixing thier own vehicles on some tar.?

it seams all so pointless.

imagine some distant galaxy at war, with really powerful weapons, and during a test firing, a projectile goes astray, and wipes out earth (or our moon, sun, which would also cause havoc)..
would we learn then?
