1998 z3 w/cass am/fm radio. The am and weather parts of the radio can't find any stations, fm and tape work well, have only had the car 2months nad I just noticed this. Any Ideas?

Certainly sounds like the AM antenna is disconnected. I've ony had my Z3 for two days, so I have NO IDEA where to look for the antenna lead. It is possible that one of the BMW sites describing modifications might have a radio mod that includes antenna information.
