I took my wife's 1990 735iL in to the dealer yesterday to check on whether the original seat belt buckles had been replaced under the above recall. They ran the VIN and found other outstanding recall issues but nothing on the buckle replacement. I'm certain they are all original as they fly open unexpectedly and are difficult to secure on the first several attempts. I am aware this is a common issue on the E32 and would appreciate information on how to successfully resolve this. Do I call BMW N.A.?

Great car by the way! I have a number of fast and exotic vehicles and find the steering feel of the E32 to be flawless. Do they all have Servotronic? How can I tell if this car does? Thank you in advance as this is my first post.
