I have a '97 Z3. My airbag warning light came on. My BMW shop said I needed the drivers side seatbelt replaced...and that would cost me $350. I have to be believe that it must be a connection, and that I should be able to fix it myself, IF the BMW dealer is correct in his diagnosis. Anyone else have this trouble and know how to fix this? Also, once fixed, will the light have to be re-set by the BMW dealer?
