Tires are Toyo RA1 225/50/14 on 14x7 Panasport ultra light racing wheels. |

What became of the similar-looking M3 in your profile pic? |

The M3 with strips, etc, is a pshop mockup that Billo made.
Now that the car is 95% done, I need to update my sig, like so.

Latest updates to linked pics at 3:00 PST.
Lots of them there, over 90. All around the car.

I think the Panasport 14x7 ultralight racing rim is 14 pounds.
There are others that are lighter, but I've never met someone who has bent a Panasport on the track.
These are hard to find, and expensive, $190 each. Some of us would rather we went with 15x7 as our spec wheel size, if we did, we'd likely run this
Kosei K1 Racing Cast 15x7 13.5
from Tire Rack, around $140 each.
The darn laptop keeps going to sleep and halting my uploads. More pics there now, about 85.

Very cool. I wish I could be there for the first race. Avoid Z-cars!!

Our class weight, including me as driver at 220 pounds, is 2650. So the car has to weigh 2430 at the end of the race. I burn aprox 5 gallons of fuel, so that's another 35 pounds.
I add 70 pounds of weight to the car on the passenger side floor, and I have to be sure I finish with about 3 gallons of gas(aprox 21 pounds) or I'll go underweight.
If I went minimum weight, maybe for a different type of racing, I'd be at 2330 wet weight. This includes the big 200+ pounds of roll cage, if I pulled that(which I never would) this car would be seriously light!
