| First of all, I own an e30 1993 convertible 3251. Please don't think I am crazy but there is a green substance on my drivers side floor mats. I can only think that it comes from the steering column somehow. It resembles aquarium gravel/stones and is pale green in colour. It is definitely not from an outside source because I can vacumn the car and then it appears again without anyone having gone near it. I thought maybe it was from the airbag system or something but I am really stuped on this one! Any ideas! Than1ks for any help |

This thread needs to be migrated to the E30 or E36 board. If your car is a '93 it should be an E36
What kind of seats do you have? Are they falling apart? The seat pads dry out and disintegrate over time. Green particulate stuff on the floor is likely coming from the seat |

It could be dried coolant from a heater core leak. What color is your coolant?
