My 1995 325is BMW with 88,000 miles has a high pitched noise coming from the right side of the engine when the car is in gear: reverse, drive, 3,2,1. No noise in Park or neutral. Noise is not heard when car is moving.
I service my car regularly. 3/15/01: new thermostat, water pump, heater core. 8/25/01 new radiator at 60,000 service. 8/04 radiator, transmission and brake fluid flush.
Any suggestions what might be causing the noise?
