It was definitely a Mini Cooper S model and the guy who was driving it was the brains behind that new SCRAMJET propulsion system.
Note: For those that haven't kept up with news, a new jet engine was recently tested by the US government. They strapped on a "SCRAMjet" engine unto an unmanned plane. It hit 3x the speed of sound.
The days of George Jetson is getting closer and closer... I just hope I live long enough to be able to travel (fly) from TX to England on a single tank of "gas" using my own (personally paid for) "vehicle". It is possible. Remember this posting 20 years from now.
