99 Z3 2.3 auto 250K. Dealer wants $175 for their "life-time" fill fluid. Anybody out there using Dex 3 in their "life-time" fill trans? -Marvin

The Dex III is the lifetime fluid. Therefore any Dex III will work. There is no need to pay the premium for the BMW logo.
