Hi. I have a '90 735i that was manufactured in 07/89. I'm attempting to replace a worn out center bearing on the drive- shaft.
In the Bentley manual, it shows a splined coupling in the center that is loosened/unhooked, to pull the shaft into the two halves.
On mine I can find no splined couping, only two halves (front and back) that seem tp be connected only by the u-joint. I started to ask around, and was told of two different shafts for the e32, one up to 08/89 and another from 09/89 on.
Does anyone have any info on this?
--Thanks a lot!
-Paul.
