hellooooooooooo....hellooooooooo....anybody out therrrreeeeeee.....?

Well, every journey has to start with the first step...so let me just throw this out and see if someone has an answer.

My 2001 740 has been acting a little funny. The P (for park) light at the base of the shifter stays on, even when the car is off, and the alarm is armed (the alarm is a different light on the dash) that flashes.

I've never noticed that it stays on...all night. Does anyone else have this problem?

hey i have a 97 123k miles and my light stays on too, i would not worry about that thebattery is huge and there are some capacitors for the alarm to store and charge the system to prevent the battey from going dead on you, i think it is a nice feature
