After a long trip 600 miles through hot weather 9o+ degrees, my check engine light started to come on periodically now it is on all the time around town at 60-70 degrees. Engine runs perfectly...what gives? |

If you don't get any useful replies to your posts, you may wish to check in with Brett Anderson, at http://www.koalamotorsport.com/. He is apparently a professional BMW wrench, and has a pay-for-answers service. |

I suspect my 91-750IL has blown a head gasket or the coolant is getting into the exhaust as there is a wisp of vapor every so often from the tail pipes. The check engine light stays on more often than not. There is no coolant inn the oil. Is this an experience others have had? |
