It may not be worth the money, unless you already possess the M5 exhaust.
The engines are different enough that the M5 can take advantage of the freer breathing of the exhaust, especially at high RPMs, whereas your 3.5 liter single cam cannot. It's doubtful you'll feel any improvement on the street, unless you make modifications to your engine to improve breathing. It'll probably make more noise, which will help you believe that it's making more power.
If your engine is close to needing an overhaul, consider making modifications to it to increase power. Talk to Metric Mechanic, or a local trusted BMW mechanic. |
