Anyone know a good way to get those metal clips that hook into the rubber strip OUT of the bumper? I can reach in there and grab the back side of them but I can't figure out how to squeeze down the expanders so I can get them free. I don't think it can be done with your hands and I can't get a pair of pliers on them very well.

These clips simply fit into the open channel in the back of the "rubber" strip and then get whacked back through the hole in the bumper to hold.

Help!

In the middle of both sides of that clip is a long, thin springy piece that opens out over the metal of the bumper. Those are what you have to squeeze... not the whole clip.

When I did mine, I removed the bumper and then took off the strip... was easy to do with the bumper off.

If yo udon't want to take the bumper off, I'd use a pair of long, curved end needle nose pliers cause I can't think of anything that can get in there easily, including your hand!
