$300!?!?! That's like 8-10 tanks of gas!

I made some fancy gauge faces for my car by scouring eBay for a couple of months until I found a cluster with some gorgeous gauges AND big, hi-res pics. Used a little old graphics / photo manipulation program I have to alter them a little, livening up the color and covering up the needles in the image. With a little trial and error resizing them, I was able to print out some very nice facsimiles on the laser printer. A little effort with popping my cluster open and I have groovy gauges that were totally free. Cool

I didn't even use my own ink and paper because my printer is B&W and I went to my Momma's house to print 'em off. Embarassed

Oh wait, that's not true. I bought a red model car paint marker for a couple bucks and painted my needles red like an M3. That was an expense.

I don't think the cluster I copied even went for $300. I don't remember.

really,
in a race or performance car the red line would be straight up.
So those gauges are pointless.
