Does anyone know if the '96 328i sedan came standard with remote keyless entry, or was it an option? A friend just bought a nice 328, but it didn't come with any remotes, and I haven't had time to pull out the glovebox and see if the 'BMW Security System' module is there or not.

I know this was an option when I bought an E36 325is new in '92, but I don;t know if they made it standard on later models. Anyone know?
