Below are areas to pay close attention to if you are looking at buying an E36:

Body:
Cracks where the subframe mounts:

Engine:
Cooling system, if more then 100k, has the radiator and water pump and other plastic bits been replaced? Good chance of cracking the head of you overheat the engine due to cracked radiator or defective water pump.

I have a 1999 M3 coupe that I am thinking about selling. It has 261K miles but has been mechanically taken care of. The clutch has low miles, steering rack has just been changed, all ball joints and bushings are tight, and shocks and struts are good. The interior is falling apart, front seats are cracked, headliner has been replaced but failing again, etc. Daily driver, runs great and dependable.

I need room for a Harley I want to buy so thinking of selling. What is it worth?

Forgot to mention it is factory Dinan.
