It was recommended for inhibiting further rust on the bottoms of 2 of my doors.
I have grow n tired of searching for used doors and this may be an alternate plan. I have rust along the bottom of 2 of my doors that has barely started showing on the outside of the doors.

it should be better than nothing.
just ensure proper drainage, and theres other stuff too (por15 or something) that does work well...
i put a dab of it on a rust spot on my (1988 toyota) truck (which gets the worst of treatment, sunk in water pits, never washed, left out 100% of the time, and this spot hasn't grown, or changed since i put it on there (2 years ago).
this truck (as with all the toyotas from the <80s were not known for their weather protection...
