I’ve read where BMW windshield glass is soft. I wonder if that might be a good thing. I have several stone chips that have not grown into cracks. The soft glass may be the reason.

I also have a Ford E450-based RV. It has two small stone chips that have begun to grow into cracks. I had them sealed at a windshield shop. Let’s see what happens.

I had an E350-based RV with stone chips, one of which developed into a humongous crack.

Just sayin’.
