| my e34 520i engine stalls after running fine for a few kilometers,it suddenly stalls without warning.then it fails to start unless i let it cools down for a couple of minutes.please help cause i really loves this car.thanx in advances. |

Consider cleaning the idle control valve.

| thanx for the reply,last weekends it happens again,i try to restart but it wont fire up..i check the fuel pump and it seems to be ok,and i also check the ignition and no problem with it.but only after i clean up the negative cable from the battery to the body suddenly the car fired up but it idle erratically.im gonna try to clean up the ICV after this to see if it idle smoothly. |
