I need to remove my lighter to replace it and I don't see how to get to it. Any ideas? I did a search and didn't find an answer but I have never had much luck searching. Guess I must be doing something wrong as I'm sure someone has asked this same question. Thanks in advance for any replies!

going from memory alone, I think you need to remove your shift boot (push the edges to the center and pull up and out), which will give you access underneath the cigarette lighter, and I believe it will pop right out when pushed from underneath.

hope that helps

I just checked.

First you reach up through the top of the junk storage tray and pop out the on board computer.

Next lift up and out the junk storage tray with the assembly of lighter, switches, and blanks.

Next while squeezing the amber plastic tabs press the lighter out.
