Next time I'm in the area I'll stop by. Address??
There was some talk, my wife included, about using someone in Vancouver, Wa. to fab and install roll bars, not cages, for some of the BMW crowd. Do you do this kind of work for street/track cars or just race cars? If my wife has one done by you, maybe I can get the others to follow.

I average 1 or 2 a month for street cars. The latest have been all Honda S2000 for Street and track days. Done a few ZO6's, Miata's and Supra. Even done 3 City Of Portland Police cars, 2 marked and 1 black undercover Car. Its all good.
I am a true fab shop, I will pretty much do anything as long as it is safe. I won't do anything that I do not feel safe in doing.

Sorry, did not see the PS. No, the Pro3 belongs to a guy from up North.
Finally finished uploading the pics of the E46 T2 car.
Paint is all done, all of the interior is in and the Customer extremely happy. Drove the car home Monday.

Sorry hit the wrong button,
Here is the rest.
Total time about 40 hours for prep, cage, interior and paint. Material bill was around $400, Labor $2000 making a total of $2400. A little higher than normal. Adding the gussets and interior with trimming and paint of course brings the bill up.
Customer was quite happy and I am pleased how the gussets turned out. If it wasn't for the door bars, it would be just like the Factory cage. _________________ Race car fabricator & Racer! Worth the trip south! |
