What is the best product for cleaning these types pf wheels?

Mother's crap just leaves spots and streaks like there's soap stains all over them.

If there is no clear coat on them then try Blue Magic with 0000 steel wool.
That's what I use on old motorcycle parts.
Anything you use will add more shine and remove the brushed look (depending on how deep it is). If you want the brushed look back you can use Scotch Brite pads after polishing.

you may have to sand them if they are pitted,
1k grit paper
1.5k
2k
polish.

btw, i've been using for years, on both my engine and wheels,,,,after all, alluminum is alluminum.

i picked it up at fred meyer, (was on sale) and that little tub has lasted a long long time (but im a miser with it too...... i wear out gloves by the 100ct box)
